Product Description

The aFe Dynamic Air Scoop (54-12208) is a direct bolt-on accessory for 2012-2019 BMW N55-equipped models - including the 335i (F30), 435i (F32/F33), M135i, M235i, and M2 (F87). It installs behind the factory kidney bean grille and channels cool, high-velocity frontal air directly into the factory intake snorkel, lowering intake air temperatures and improving throttle response without any cutting or modification to OEM parts.

While effective on its own, the D.A.S. is designed as a companion upgrade to aFe's Magnum FORCE Stage-2 intake systems for these N55 models - together, the intake and scoop maximize the volume and temperature of air reaching the engine. Installation requires only the included hardware and takes minutes. For those wanting a more aggressive look, the carbon fiber version (P/N 54-12208-C) is available at a higher weight-to-strength ratio with a high-gloss clear-coated 2x2 twill-weave finish.
