Product Description

The aFe 51-82082-1 Magnum FORCE Stage-2Si Cold Air Intake with Pro DRY S filter is a high-flow performance intake system developed for a broad range of BMW models equipped with the turbocharged 3.0-liter N55 inline-six engine. This sealed intake replaces the factory airbox with a purpose-built housing and dyno-tuned intake tube that delivers a denser charge of cool air to the engine, improving throttle response, horsepower, and torque potential. The large oil-free Pro DRY S synthetic air filter is washable and reusable, making maintenance convenient and cost-effective.

With a custom CAD-designed roto-molded sealed housing and built-in auxiliary air scoop, the system minimizes heat soak and boosts airflow compared to stock. Dyno tests show performance gains of up to approximately +32 HP and +60 lb-ft of torque in ideal conditions, while premium hardware and clamps ensure a secure bolt-on installation - no cutting or drilling required. This intake also enhances engine induction sound and general driving feel.
