The aFe Power 21-91101 is a Magnum FLOW Pro DRY S inverted conical air filter designed for aftermarket intake systems using a (6-3/4 x 4-3/4)" oval clamp-on flange. The inverted conical shape - wider at the base, tapering to a recessed oval top - maximizes the total filter surface area within a given height envelope, allowing for more efficient airflow and greater dust holding capacity compared to a straight-sided cone of equivalent size. Three layers of progressively finer synthetic mesh media deliver aFe's Pro DRY S performance: excellent airflow, 99.2% filtration efficiency, and complete freedom from the oiling process that traditional cotton gauze performance filters require. This makes it particularly well-suited for vehicles with mass airflow sensors, where over-oiled media can contaminate the sensor element and trigger fault codes.

The pliable polyurethane flange features integrated bump seals that conform to the intake housing inlet for a tight, leak-free seal without gaskets or sealants - and always returns to its original molded shape. The evenly spaced, open pleats run the full height of the filter to provide the maximum usable filtration surface and excellent dust holding capacity, extending the interval between cleaning cycles. When cleaning is needed, the Pro DRY S filter is recharged with aFe's Power Cleaner - spray on, allow to soak, rinse with low-pressure water from the clean side outward, and reinstall once fully dry. No re-oiling step is required at any point.
