Product Description

The aFe 49-02078-P ATLAS is a 5" aluminized steel DPF-back exhaust system for the 2019-2025 RAM 2500 and 3500 equipped with the L6-6.7L Cummins turbo diesel engine - specifically for the Mega Cab/Short Bed (160" wheelbase) and Crew Cab/Short Bed (149" wheelbase) configurations. Replacing the restrictive factory 4" exhaust tubing with 5" mandrel-bent aluminized steel produces a meaningful reduction in exhaust backpressure, which in turn lowers exhaust gas temperatures, improves turbo spool and efficiency, and frees up horsepower and torque the factory system was holding back.

This is a DPF-back system, meaning it connects at the outlet of the factory Diesel Particulate Filter and retains all OEM emissions equipment - DPF, DEF, and SCR - keeping the truck emissions-legal and fully functional. Installation is a straightforward bolt-on using factory-style OE bayonet hangers and band clamps; no cutting or drilling is required. The system finishes with a 7" polished stainless steel clamp-on exhaust tip with a riveted aFe POWER logo plate. Engineered and manufactured in aFe's Corona, California facility.
