Fitment Notes

• This is a direct-fit OE drop-in replacement air filter for the 2025-2026 RAM 1500 RHO. Installation involves removing the factory airbox lid, removing the stock paper filter element, and installing the aFe 10-10409G in its place. No trimming, modification, or additional hardware is required - the lid reinstalls using all factory attachment points.
• The 10-10409G uses an Inverted Replacement Filter (IRF) design, with the filter top inverted to use the full available depth of the factory RHO airbox cavity. This provides more filter media surface area within the same installed envelope as the factory paper filter, improving airflow capacity and extending cleaning intervals compared to a standard-depth replacement filter.
• The Pro GUARD 7 is the highest-filtration media option in the aFe lineup for this fitment. It is specifically designed for use in heavily dusty environments - including dirt roads, trail driving, desert terrain, construction zones, and agriculture environments - where maximum filtration depth and the highest dust-holding capacity take priority. • The Pro GUARD 7 is an oiled filter. After washing with aFe POWER CLEANER, it must be recharged with aFe gold air filter oil before reinstallation. Recharging with the correct oil restores the media's filtration efficiency. Do not use blue aFe oil (for Pro 5R) in place of the gold oil specified for Pro GUARD 7. Do not over-oil - excess oil on the media can migrate to the MAF sensor and affect readings on the Hurricane's engine management system.
• This product does not require a CARB Executive Order number. As a direct OE-category replacement filter, it is legal for use in California and all 50 states on vehicles equipped with the listed engine.
