The aFe Rock Basher 3 IN 304 Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust System (49-38099) is a purpose-built off-road cat-back upgrade for the 2021-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon 392 with the 6.4L HEMI V8. Constructed from 3 IN mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel and 100% MIG-welded in-house, it replaces the factory exhaust system from the catalytic converter back - removing restriction, reducing backpressure, and unlocking more of the 392's naturally aspirated V8 potential. A free-flowing muffler with internal X design absorbs unwanted high-frequency tones and delivers a deep, powerful exhaust note that matches the Rubicon 392's character.

The defining design feature of the Rock Basher is its pre-axle turn-down tip: the exhaust exits downward beneath the vehicle, ahead of the rear axle, rather than running a traditional exposed tip to the rear bumper. This eliminates one of the most vulnerable points on any trail-driven Wrangler - protruding tailpipes that catch rocks, stumps, and obstacles. Factory hanger locations and bayonet tip retention keep the system stable under hard off-road use. Note that installation eliminates the factory Active Exhaust valve system, permanently removing the factory sound mode (Quiet/Normal/Sport/Track) switching capability.
