Product Description

The aFe 52-10011R Rapid Induction Intake with Pro 5R Filter is a high-performance cold air intake engineered specifically for select BMW and MINI vehicles with 1.5 L and 2.0 L turbocharged engines. This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a large 360° radial flow Pro 5R filter and mandrel-bent intake tube to dramatically improve airflow into the turbocharger, enhancing throttle response and delivering measurable gains in horsepower and torque. The washable and reusable Pro 5R oiled cotton gauze media ensures excellent filtration with reduced long-term maintenance costs.

Installation is straightforward with a direct bolt-on design that utilizes factory mounting points - no cutting or drilling needed. The robust powder-coated heat shield helps protect the intake from engine bay heat, maintaining consistent performance on the street or track. Please note this intake is **not currently CARB exempt** and thus **cannot be used in California or other CARB-required states**.
