Fitment Notes

• Fits models equipped with the EA888 or EA113 L4-1.8T and L4-2.0T turbocharged gasoline engines only.
• Requires factory Oil Level Sensor - this pan will NOT fit models without an oil level sensor. Verify your vehicle has this sensor before ordering.
• RTV silicone and all necessary mounting hardware are included - no separate gasket required.
• Also available in raw/brushed aluminum finish as P/N 46-71210A.
• Does not require a CARB EO number.

Product Description

The aFe 46-71210B Pro Series Engine Oil Pan is a direct bolt-in upgrade for a wide range of 2005-2022 Volkswagen and Audi vehicles equipped with the 1.8T or 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine - covering the GTI, Golf R, Golf Alltrack, Tiguan, Jetta, Passat, CC, EOS, Beetle, A3, S3, TT/TTS, and Q3 across their respective production years. It replaces the factory steel oil pan with a cast aluminum unit featuring reinforced ribs, internal and external machined cooling fins, and approximately 1 quart of additional oil capacity over stock.

The added capacity and aluminum construction help manage oil temperatures more effectively during sustained high-performance and track driving - conditions where the factory pan's thermal limits are most easily reached on turbocharged engines that generate significant heat in the oil circuit. The magnetic drain plug captures metallic wear particles before they recirculate through bearings and cam journals. Installation uses the factory mounting locations with RTV silicone and included hardware. Important: this pan requires the factory oil level sensor to be present - it will not fit models without one.
