Product Description

The Aeromotive 66164 is a stand-alone ReturnX PWM controller built for single-pump, return-style fuel systems on supercharged or turbocharged applications. Rather than replacing your regulator and return line, it works alongside a traditional return/bypass-type fuel pressure regulator, using PWM to throttle pump speed based on demand instead of running the pump at full voltage at all times.

For boosted applications, Aeromotive recommends connecting the included stand-alone MAP sensor past the supercharger or turbocharger and dialing in at-idle controller adjustments - from there, the system automatically manages pump speed as boost and fuel demand change. This reduces average pump power draw significantly compared to running a pump at full duty cycle continuously, which lowers fuel temperature and extends pump service life.
