• The 12604 is a direct replacement service element for the following Aeromotive filter housings: PN 12304, 12307, 12324, 12331, 12349, 12354, 12379, and 12389. It fits any Aeromotive 2-inch OD x 5-1/2-inch long ORB-10 filter housing. Before ordering, confirm your filter housing part number is in this list.
• Includes new housing O-ring. The 12604 ships with a replacement housing O-ring for resealing the filter assembly during service - no need to source the O-ring separately when changing the element.
• Pre-pump use: Suitable as a pre-pump coarse filter for Aeromotive electric fuel pumps from the 11109 up through the A1000 and SS series (applications up to approximately 2.5 GPM) on gasoline, diesel, ethanol, and methanol. The 100-micron rating catches large particulates before they reach pump internals without creating significant pre-pump restriction.
• Post-pump use: Popular as a post-pump filter for Aeromotive 12-Series (belt and hex-driven) mechanical fuel pumps and Aeromotive Spur Gear pumps up to 21 GPM, where the high surface area and 100-micron mesh handle large-volume flow without pressure drop.
