Fitment Notes

• V8 engine applications only for direct fit. 6-cylinder trucks (1988-1997) are compatible only if NOT equipped with a white plastic fuel pump hat and bucket assembly - the white plastic hat has the wrong diameter opening and is not compatible.
• All 1997 V6 and all 1998 V6 or V8 GM pickup trucks equipped with the white plastic fuel pump hat and bucket require a new Stealth Fuel Tank - use P/N 18174 (200 LPH) or P/N 18474 (340 LPH) instead.
• Includes 0-90 Ohm sending unit to maintain factory fuel gauge function.
• Outlet size is -6 AN. AN fuel lines and high-flow filtration are required (not included).
• Fuel level sender resistance: 0 Ohms at empty, 90 Ohms at full.
• E85 compatible - reduce maximum supported horsepower by approximately 30%.
• Not legal for sale or use on emissions-controlled vehicles except when used as a direct OEM-matching replacement part.

Product Description

The Aeromotive 18379 is a direct drop-in 340 LPH Stealth fuel pump and hanger assembly engineered specifically for 1988-1997 GM C/K 1500 and 2500 full-size pickup trucks and SUVs with V8 engines. Delivering 90 GPH of flow capacity, it supports up to 1,000 HP on naturally aspirated carbureted gasoline builds and 850 HP on EFI - making it a clean, effective upgrade for street-driven performance builds, EFI swaps, and boosted applications that have outgrown the factory pump's capacity.

Installation is straightforward - the 18379 drops directly into the factory tank using the OEM hanger mounting location and lock ring with no drilling, welding, or tank modifications required. The included 0-90 Ohm fuel level sender maintains factory fuel gauge compatibility. The pump is E85-compatible for flex-fuel applications, and operates quietly inside the tank unlike external pump alternatives. Note that 6-cylinder equipped trucks are compatible only if not equipped with the white plastic fuel pump hat and bucket; trucks with that assembly require the Stealth Fuel Tank version (P/N 18474) instead.
