Fitment Notes

• Universal fitment - not vehicle-specific. Customer must verify mounting location, fuel line sizing, and regulator compatibility before installation.
• For EFI applications: requires Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator P/N 13134 or P/N 13110 (sold separately).
• For carbureted applications: requires regulator P/N 13202 or P/N 13212 (sold separately).
• Requires a straight 12VDC to 16VDC power supply - not compatible with pulse modulated systems or fuel pump speed controllers.
• Not compatible with 16V racing charging systems (16-18V range). A voltage regulator or step-down converter is required for 16V systems.
• Aeromotive recommends -12 AN fuel line from the tank to the pump for best performance.
• Upgradeable to True Variable Speed operation via Aeromotive retrofit kit P/N 18047 (sold separately).
• Also available as a drop-in Stealth Module and in complete Stealth Fuel Cell configurations.
• Not legal for sale or use on emissions-controlled vehicles except on dedicated race vehicles.

Product Description

The Aeromotive 11186 is the Signature housing variant of the flagship Pro-Series 5.0 GPM Brushless Gear Pump, distinguished from the 11182 round-body version by its flat-sided Signature housing with integrated mounting feet - eliminating the need for a separate bracket and simplifying installation in chassis, frame rail, and custom fuel cell setups. Like all pumps in this series, the 11186 delivers 5.0 gallons per minute at 13.5V and 40 PSI, making it the single highest-flowing electric fuel pump on the market.

Its integral spur-gear mechanism sustains fuel flow at high pressure far more efficiently than vane or roller-style pumps, while the brushless motor provides precise RPM control as system pressure rises - resulting in a flatter flow curve, less current draw, reduced heat, and a dramatically longer service life. The pump is fully compatible with gasoline, E85, methanol, and ethanol, with fuel-specific horsepower ratings verified across all application types. A bypass-style fuel pressure regulator is required and sold separately, and the pump can be upgraded to True Variable Speed capability via Aeromotive's P/N 18047 retrofit kit.
