Fitment Notes

• Critical hub verification required before ordering. The 30-8761 uses a round shaft hub and a 50mm outer diameter. Before purchasing, remove the factory CAS disc from your distributor and visually confirm that the center hub profile of your stock disc is round - not "D" shaped. If your stock disc has a D-shaped shaft, see 30-8760 instead.
• Does NOT fit Nissan Skyline R34. R34 RB-series engines (RB25DET NEO, RB26DETT) use a D-shaped distributor shaft and require the 30-8760 disc, not the 30-8761. This is the most common ordering error for this product - verify your chassis and CAS disc hub before purchasing.
• For use with AEM programmable engine management systems (EMS) only. This disc is a component for AEM EMS installations and does not function as a standalone upgrade. It requires an AEM EMS or compatible aftermarket ECU configured for a 24+1 cam trigger pattern.

The AEM 30-8761 is a 24+1 tooth CAS (Crank Angle Sensor) trigger disk for Nissan RB and VG-series engine applications - specifically the RB20DET and RB26DETT in the R32 Skyline, the RB25DET and RB26DETT in the R33 Skyline, and the VG30DETT in the Z32 Fairlady Z / 300ZX. It is a direct internal replacement for the factory CAS disc inside the Nissan distributor, designed for use with AEM programmable engine management systems to resolve cam angle sync issues on these platforms.

The disc installs into the existing factory distributor without modification, replacing the OEM trigger disc with a 24+1 pattern that the AEM EMS (and other aftermarket ECUs supporting 24+1 cam triggers) can accurately read for sequential fuel injection and ignition control.
