Product Description

The AEM 21-764C is a cold air intake system designed, tuned, and dyno-tested specifically for the 2014-2017 Volkswagen Jetta (1.8T), Jetta GLI (2.0T), and Passat (1.8T) equipped with the EA888 Gen3 engine. The factory intake on these turbocharged VWs routes air through narrow, tightly bent plastic tubing that increases intake air temperature and creates power-robbing turbulence. The AEM system replaces this with a wider mandrel-bent aluminum tube featuring wide-angle bends that straighten the airflow path, reduce turbulence, and significantly lower intake air temperatures when combined with the included heat shield. Dyno testing shows gains of up to +12 HP at 4,500 RPM over the stock system.

The oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic filter requires no oil and can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings. The intake tube includes a built-in fitting for the factory PCV hose, maintaining emissions compliance with no tune required.
