Product Description

The AEM 28-50064 is a direct-fit DryFlow panel air filter engineered as a performance upgrade over the factory paper element for a wide range of modern Subaru vehicles. Covering platforms from the Impreza and Crosstrek to the Forester, Ascent, Legacy, Outback, and the 2022+ WRX, it drops directly into the OEM airbox without tools or modification. The oil-free non-woven synthetic media delivers improved airflow and up to 99% contaminant filtration throughout the filter's service life.

Unlike cotton-gauze alternatives, the DryFlow media sheds dirt passively under engine vibration and requires no re-oiling - protecting MAF sensors and eliminating the guesswork from filter maintenance. Washable with water and AEM's filter cleaner, this filter is built to last the life of the vehicle. Note: owners of the 2015-2021 WRX or STI should use AEM part number 28-20304, as this filter is designed for the newer Subaru Global Platform (SGP) airbox.
