Featuring ACT's Heavy Duty diaphragm pressure plate paired with a sprung performance street clutch disc, this kit delivers increased clamp load, improved heat tolerance, and enhanced durability over many OEM clutch systems. The premium organic friction material with steel-backed lining offers superior burst strength and longevity, while the reduced marcel design promotes quicker shift action and a smoother engagement feel.

Designed for spirited street driving and occasional track use, the BM17-HDSS kit strikes a balance between everyday drivability and robust performance. With a torque capacity of approximately 465 ft-lbs - about 52 % over many factory clutch kits - this Heavy Duty Street Sprung unit handles elevated power levels with confidence. Note that installation requires an ACT 601011 or 601016 flywheel (sold separately). The inclusion of a clutch release bearing, pilot bearing, alignment tool, and pressure plate bolts ensures a comprehensive installation experience.
