The ACT T2SS-F17 is a Mod-Twin 10.5 Xtreme Sprung Street twin disc clutch kit built for the 2024-2026 Ford Mustang GT (S650) with the 5.0L Coyote V8 and manual transmission. Rated to hold up to 986 ft-lbs. of torque at the crank, this kit is engineered to meet the demands of modified and power-adder-equipped Mustangs - supercharged, turbocharged, nitrous, or otherwise - while remaining fully street-driveable in a way that conventional race-oriented twin disc setups are not.

The 10.5" dual-disc design doubles the friction surface area of the OEM clutch and is paired with ACT's Xtreme pressure plate - ACT's highest-load diaphragm design - mounted in a forged aluminum cover. Despite the extreme torque capacity, the Xtreme's unique diaphragm geometry produces a pedal effort that is lighter than stock, a key advantage over other performance twin disc systems. The sprung Mono-Drive hub assembly preserves the torsional damping properties of the stock clutch disc, reducing drivetrain shock and gear rattle for everyday drivability. ACT's patented Monoloc Collar adjusts for wear over the clutch's service life and ensures both discs release simultaneously for crisp, consistent clutch action. The included CNC flywheel brings the full assembly in approximately 18% lighter than the OEM unit, sharpening throttle response without sacrificing drivability. This kit is fully rebuildable, SFI certified, and requires a standard 300-500 mile street break-in period.
