The ACT 3000818 is a Performance Street Sprung clutch disc designed for BMW 1, 3, and 5 Series models and the X3 and Z4 equipped with 3.0L inline-six engines (M54, N51, N52). It fits a range of E46, E60, E82/E88, E83, E89, and E90/E92/E93 chassis applications spanning 2004-2013. The disc is sold individually and must be paired with an ACT pressure plate and ACT flywheel -- the sprung hub design uses bushings and cone springs to create frictional dampening that reduces driveline noise when used with a solid flywheel.

The 240mm organic friction surface uses premium composite materials blended for high heat tolerance and improved recovery from overheating. A reduced marcel allows for quicker pedal response and faster shift completion compared to an OEM disc. Steel-backed linings provide greater burst strength, and heat-treated wraparound spring windows reinforce the hub against the stress concentrations that cause premature disc failure.
