Product Description

The ACT SB12-XTG6 Xtreme Race Sprung 6-Pad Clutch Kit is a high-capacity clutch assembly engineered for demanding turbocharged Subaru applications. It combines ACT's Xtreme pressure plate with a 240mm six-pad sprung ceramic race disc and XACT Prolite chromoly flywheel. The Xtreme pressure plate provides substantially increased clamp load, while the spring-centered six-pad disc helps manage torsional vibration during aggressive driving.

The ceramic race disc is designed to withstand high temperatures and repeated hard engagement, making this clutch suited to high-performance and competition-oriented builds. ACT's four-stage heat-treated diaphragm and precision pressure-plate construction are designed to maintain rigidity and consistent operation under demanding conditions. The 240mm conversion also provides a larger friction surface than the 230mm OEM clutch used on many earlier WRX applications.

The SB12-XTG6 is rated for 681 lb-ft of torque at the crank and uses ACT XACT Prolite chromoly flywheel #600895 as part of the 240mm conversion. It is intended for compatible manual-transmission AWD Subaru applications and does not fit WRX STI models. Because Subaru changed clutch dimensions during the 2018 WRX production year, the exact vehicle configuration should be verified before installation.
