The ACT SB12-HDG6 HD/Race Sprung 6-Pad Clutch Kit is a performance-oriented clutch assembly designed for compatible turbocharged Subaru applications. It combines ACT's Heavy Duty pressure plate with a 6-pad, spring-centered ceramic race disc to provide increased clamping force, fast shifting characteristics, and improved resistance to heat during demanding driving. The spring-centered disc also helps damp torsional vibrations while maintaining the aggressive engagement characteristics expected from a race-style clutch.

The Heavy Duty pressure plate uses a heat-treated diaphragm and precision cover construction to improve rigidity, consistency, and service life. Reinforced spring-retainer construction supports the disc springs and helps reduce stress concentrations under high-load operation.
