Fitment Notes

• Fits 6-bolt crankshaft 4G63 and 4G61 engines only. The 6-bolt designation refers to the number of bolts securing the crankshaft reluctor wheel. Earlier 1989-1990 base Eclipse GS and non-turbo variants used 7-bolt 4G63 engines, which use a different oil pump and are NOT compatible with this part number.
• The 4G61 Mirage applications are fitment-confirmed for balance shaft-equipped engines only. Verify your Mirage's engine specification includes the balance shaft assembly before ordering.
• This is an OEM-replacement oil pump designed for standard rebuilds and low-boost applications. It is not recommended for high-horsepower or high-boost builds - for those applications, the ACL Orbit Performance oil pump (OPMB1096HP, if available) or an aftermarket high-volume pump should be considered instead.
• Any modifications to the front case, including balance shaft elimination, will void the manufacturer's warranty on this pump.
• The oil pump is integral to the front timing cover on the 1G DSM 4G63 platform - this is a complete front cover oil pump assembly, not a standalone internal oil pump.
