The Turbosmart TS-0563-1762 PSG40 Pneumatic StraightGate Wastegate is a high-performance 40mm external wastegate engineered for turbocharged engines requiring precise and stable boost control. Featuring Turbosmart's unique StraightGate design, this wastegate uses a zero-offset butterfly valve that allows exhaust pressure to act evenly on both sides of the valve. This self-balancing configuration reduces actuator effort and enables highly consistent boost regulation even under high exhaust drive pressure.

Unlike traditional poppet-style wastegates that redirect exhaust flow at sharp angles, the StraightGate design provides a straight-through exhaust path that significantly improves flow efficiency. With a flow capacity of approximately 217.4 CFM and support for boost control pressures ranging from the supplied 6 PSI base spring up to significantly higher levels through spring combinations, the PSG40 offers a wide tuning window for performance engines.
