Product Description

The Superwinch 1571 is a neoprene protective cover designed specifically for the integrated (bridged) housing configuration shared by the SX 10000, SX 10000 SR, SX 12000, SX 12000 SR, Talon 9.5i, and Talon 9.5i SR winches. When a winch is mounted on a vehicle that sees regular highway driving or seasonal storage, exposure to road grit, insects, moisture, and UV radiation accelerates wear on rope, motor seals, and control components. The 1571 cover wraps the entire winch assembly in reinforced neoprene - the same dive-suit grade material used in wetsuits - which provides a flexible, conforming barrier that seals tightly against the winch housing without trapping moisture.

The integrated drawstring at the base cinches securely enough to keep the cover in place at highway speeds, though installations with wiring routed through the bottom of the winch housing may not achieve a full 360° seal at the drawstring. The cover carries the Superwinch logo and ships in black to coordinate with most aftermarket bumpers and winch housings. For Talon 9.5 non-integrated, Talon 12.5, and Tiger Shark 13500/15500/17500 winches, the correct cover is Superwinch 1572, which is sized for those larger or non-bridged housing profiles.
