Product Description

The Skyjacker 174DR is a dual rate long travel front coil spring pair engineered specifically for 1966-1979 Ford F-100, F-150, and 1978-1979 Bronco 4WD trucks. Unlike single-rate springs, the 174DR uses a 2-stage progressive design that starts soft for maximum suspension flex and terrain-following articulation, then transitions to a firmer rate under compression for confident on-road handling. This makes it equally capable on the trail and the street without sacrificing either.

Each spring is wound from SAE9254 spring steel, shot-peened for increased tensile strength, and preset to solid height at the factory to eliminate break-in sag. A baked-on powder coat protects against corrosion in harsh environments. The pair delivers a full 4 inches of front lift, providing clearance for larger tires and improved ground clearance for off-road use. Professional installation is recommended.
