The Russell 684510 is a complete stainless steel braided brake line kit designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory rubber brake hoses on the 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si coupe (EM1). This kit includes four pre-assembled brake lines covering all four corners -- front and rear -- and is specifically designed for the Civic Si which is equipped with rear disc brakes from the factory. Replacing the OE rubber brake hoses with Russell stainless steel braided lines eliminates hose expansion under braking pressure, resulting in a firmer pedal feel, reduced pedal travel, and more consistent braking response for both daily driving and competition use. Each line features stainless steel braided construction over a PTFE inner liner with zinc-plated steel fittings for long-term corrosion resistance.
