Product Description

The RockJock CE-9112P-12 is a 2 in. Johnny Joint rod end built for fabricators and suspension system builders who need a weld-in articulating joint rather than a bolt-in replacement. Like RockJock's other Johnny Joints, it's designed to deliver significantly more range of motion than a standard heim joint - up to 30 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction - while a high-density urethane bushing cushions the joint for smoother, quieter operation than a metal-on-metal heim.

This version features a .500 in. ball bore and a 2 in. mounting width, with a heat-treated steel center ball and retaining washers for durability under load. The .180 in. DOM steel outer shell is designed to be welded directly into a custom-fabricated control arm, traction bar, or steering link. The joint is externally greased through a zerk fitting rather than through the bolt, so maintenance is done from the outside of the joint.

Because this is a universal, application-non-specific part, it's sold individually rather than as a matched pair or vehicle-specific kit - builders should order two for a symmetrical application and source a compatible 1/2 in. thru-bolt separately to complete the assembly.
