Product Description

The Remus 088017 1500 is a stainless steel sport axle-back exhaust system built for the 2017-2019 BMW 540i and 540i xDrive (G30 Sedan) and 5 Series G31 Touring. As a vehicle-specific, bolt-on system, it delivers a genuine performance upgrade over the factory exhaust - improved horsepower, torque, and throttle response through reduced back pressure and optimized exhaust flow - along with the deep, sonorous sound Remus is known for.

This system features 2 integrated valves that use your BMW's original actuator and onboard electronics to switch exhaust character, so there's no need for additional wiring or aftermarket valve controllers. It comes with EC homologation, and installation is straightforward as a direct bolt-on for M Sport models used with the original BMW G30 550i rear diffuser.

Note that this listing is for the axle-back muffler assembly only - it does not include tail pipes or the connection tube required for a complete installation. Pair it with a compatible Remus tail pipe set (such as 0046 70S for chrome rolled-edge, 0046 70SG for chrome straight-cut, or 0046 70CS for carbon with titanium internals) and the matching connection tube (088017 0000) to finish your build.
