Compatibility

  • Universal - fits any front or rear coilover shock with a straight (non-tapered) 2-1/2 in. I.D. spring perch
  • Compatible with QA1 Pro Coil and Stocker Star coilover shocks, and comparable 2.5 in. I.D. coilover setups

Fitment Notes

  • Sold individually
  • Variable (progressive) rate: 140 lb/in. initial, ramping to 250 lb/in. - confirm this rate suits your application, as QA1 offers many rate options in this length and I.D.
  • Also available in 7, 9, 12, 14, and 16 in. lengths at various rates if 10 in. isn't the correct length for your shock

Features

  • Variable (progressive) 140/250 lb/in. spring rate for a blended comfort/performance characteristic
  • High-tensile chrome silicon alloy wire - fewer coils and smaller wire diameter than conventional springs
  • Increased suspension travel from greater spacing between coils
  • Improved fatigue life from heat-treating and shot-peening
  • Coil-bind capable without affecting spring rate or free height
  • Ground, squared ends for straight, consistent operation
  • Length and rate clearly marked for quick identification

Product Description

The QA1 10HT140/250 is a variable-rate high-travel coilover spring built for anyone who wants a progressive feel - softer initial compression that firms up as the spring loads. Made from chrome silicon alloy wire rather than conventional spring steel, it uses fewer coils and a smaller wire diameter, cutting weight while opening up more room between coils for extra travel.

Because it's a 2-1/2 in. I.D. straight spring, it drops into any coilover shock built around that diameter rather than a specific vehicle, and QA1 backs it with a lifetime guarantee that it'll hold within 2% of its original free height and rate under normal use.
