Product Description

The Moroso 20947 is a baffled steel front sump oil pan built for Toyota's legendary 1JZ and 2JZ engines, including Dart 2JZ iron block builds. At 4" deep with a 6-quart capacity, it's engineered with a race-proven trap door assembly and anti-slosh baffle to keep oil controlled and the pickup submerged under hard acceleration, cornering, and sustained high-RPM use.

Because the pan's added depth changes pickup geometry, it comes with its own matching oil pickup - reusing a factory pickup from a shallower JZX-style pan will not provide correct clearance or pickup submersion. It's a solid choice for JZ swap builds and dedicated race applications where oil control under sustained lateral and acceleration loads matters.
