Product Description

The MOMO 2401 is a 6-bolt steering wheel hub adapter engineered for a wide range of 1969-2004 GM, Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, and Cadillac vehicles, along with Dodge Neon, Viper, and SRT4, and select Audi, Jeep, Avanti, and Chrysler applications. MOMO invented and market-launched the first collapsible steering wheel hub in the early 1970s, and this adapter carries forward that same programmed deformation design, absorbing outstanding impacts to dramatically increase driver safety in the event of a collision.

Machined from aluminum and finished in a durable matte black powdercoat, this hub adapter mounts a 6-bolt, 6x70mm pattern MOMO, Sparco, or other compatible aftermarket steering wheel directly onto the factory 36-spline steering shaft. This adapter is not compatible with Nardi or Personal wheels, and will not fit applications equipped with a telescoping steering column.

This adapter is intended for owners installing an aftermarket steering wheel who want a genuine, safety-engineered collapsible hub rather than a generic adapter. Installation requires trimming of plastic trim and the ignition to be located on the steering column; SRT4 models additionally require a steering wheel spacer for turn signal clearance and custom horn wiring.
