Fitment Notes

• 30432 is a body-mounted side step requiring drilling - 6 bolt holes per side must be drilled into the body tub for installation. All necessary stainless steel hardware is included.
• Fits the CJ-7 and CJ-8 from 1976 through the end of CJ production in 1986, and the full YJ Wrangler run from 1987 through 1995 - one part number covers both platforms using the same body mounting geometry.
• OE replacement for Jeep/Mopar reference 8134436-BK.
• Does not fit the Jeep CJ-5 - the shorter CJ-5 wheelbase and body profile uses different step geometry. A separate Kentrol part number covers TJ-generation Wranglers (1997-2006).

The Kentrol 30432 is a polished T-304 stainless steel side step pair built for the 1976-1986 Jeep CJ-7, 1981-1985 CJ-8 Scrambler, and 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Unlike bolt-on running boards that mount to factory tabs, the 30432 uses a body-mounted design that requires drilling six holes per side into the body tub - a clean, permanent installation that integrates the steps directly into the lower body panel with no visible brackets or secondary mounting structure. All stainless steel hardware is included for the installation. The result is a low-profile step that adds both function and appearance to the rocker area, and that is particularly impactful on lifted CJ and YJ builds where the elevated floor height makes entry and exit a genuine reach without a step.

At 19½" overall length and 4¼" deep - with a 16½" x 4" usable step platform - the 30432 provides a substantial footing area without projecting so far from the body that trail clearance is compromised.
