• This is a universal helper spring kit sized for leaf spring packs that are 2.5 inches wide - verify your rear leaf spring width before ordering.
• Designed for leaf spring rear suspension systems only. Not compatible with vehicles equipped with coil spring, air spring, or independent rear suspension.
• For 2005-2013 Toyota Tacoma (4WD and PreRunner with TRD package), see Hellwig part #979 (EZ-990 series). For 2005-2015 Tacoma 2WD (except PreRunner), see part #1251.
• The kit mounts on top of the existing leaf spring pack using the included U-bolts - the axle can be positioned either above or below the leaf pack; confirmed compatible with both overspring and underspring axle configurations.
• Only one leaf per side of the split-leaf pair needs to be installed to reduce effective capacity to approximately 500 lbs. if full 1,000 lb. capacity is not required.
• Verify fitment for vans (Dodge Caravan, Plymouth Voyager) by confirming that rear leaf springs are 2.5 inches wide and have sufficient clearance for the helper spring dimensions (approximately 18.5 inches rear and 14.75 inches front).

The Hellwig 1250 EZ-1000 Helper Spring Kit is a medium-duty load management solution engineered for a broad range of light trucks, SUVs, vans, and compact pickups equipped with leaf spring rear suspension. Designed to bolt directly onto the existing rear leaf spring pack, the EZ-1000 adds up to 1,000 lbs. of supplemental level load capacity - enough to eliminate rear-end sag under medium cargo or trailer tongue weight loads and restore the vehicle to its proper ride height, steering geometry, and headlight aim. The single split-leaf design installs one spring leaf on each side of the rear axle, engaging progressively as load increases so that the ride remains comfortable and compliant during unloaded driving.
