Product Description

The Hellwig 1904 EZ-990 Helper Spring Kit delivers up to 2,500 lbs of additional level-load capacity for 2016-2022 Ford Transit-150, Transit-250, and Transit-350 Cargo Van and Cutaway Chassis models. Designed to sit on top of the factory rear leaf springs and work in conjunction with them, this single-leaf helper spring eliminates rear squat under heavy loads, restores level ride height, and improves braking, handling, and tire wear by putting weight back on the front axle.

Installation is a simple bolt-on procedure using common hand tools - no drilling required. Fully adjustable end U-bolts let you dial-in the spring rate to match your specific load, and can even level the van side-to-side if cargo is loaded unevenly. Ideal for contractors, upfitters, delivery fleets, and work-van owners who regularly haul tools, equipment, or cargo. Not compatible with Transit Passenger Van models.
