Product Description

The GiroDisc A1-047 Front Slotted 2-Piece Rotor Set is a high-performance brake upgrade designed specifically for the 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. This upgraded rotor set replaces the factory front rotors with a lightweight, two-piece floating design that improves cooling performance, reduces unsprung and rotational mass, and enhances overall braking efficiency under both street and track conditions.

Constructed with a precision cast iron disc and a 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum hat, the A1-047 rotors use a curved vane internal design that functions like a centrifugal pump, drawing cooling air through the rotor to help reduce heat buildup during heavy braking. The slotted friction surface increases pad bite and helps channel away dust, gas, and water - improving fade resistance and consistent stopping power across a wide range of driving conditions.

Because the GiroDisc rotors bolt directly onto the vehicle and work with the factory brake calipers, installation requires no modifications. The floating mount system accommodates thermal expansion and keeps noise to a minimum while allowing the rotors to self-center between pads. Sold as a pair, these rotors maintain factory ABS and brake bias characteristics while offering enhanced performance, making them a popular upgrade for Evo X enthusiasts seeking stronger, more reliable braking.
