The Eaton 14213-1 ELocker is a rear selectable locking differential built for Toyota 9.5" beam rear axles with 32-spline shafts. Under normal driving, it behaves like an open differential - allowing smooth cornering and minimizing driveline stress. When maximum traction is needed (mud, snow, rocks, towing, etc.), the driver can engage the locker via an electromagnetic mechanism to force both rear wheels to receive equal torque.
