Product Description

The Eagle CRS5430A3D-1 is a high-performance single connecting rod designed for the Honda/Acura B18C VTEC engine, commonly found in Integra GS-R and Type R models from 1994 to 2002. Constructed from forged 4340 chromoly steel, this H-beam rod is built to handle high RPM and elevated stress, making it ideal for both track builds and high-boost applications.

Each rod is precisely manufactured using a two-piece forging method, which aligns the grain of the steel for superior strength. The surfaces are shot-peened and machined, while the sizing is guaranteed with Sunnen K-ross grinding. These rods are bushed for full-floating piston pins and equipped with 3/8" ARP 2000 cap bolts, ensuring reliable clamping force under severe conditions.

Balanced weight and tight tolerances help maintain engine harmony, but because this is a high-stress performance component, careful assembly is recommended. Use ARP moly lube on the bolts and torque to spec (43 ft-lbs) to get the most out of this rod in your B18C build.
