The Airaid 201-285 Cold Air Intake System is engineered to replace the restrictive factory intake system in select 2014-2020 GM trucks and SUVs equipped with 5.3L V8 engines. This system features high-density polyethylene panels that mount in the factory air box location, utilizing existing cold air inlet ducts and adding additional cold air passages to the filter. The SynthaMax dry synthetic filter is washable and reusable, providing superior filtration and increased airflow over traditional paper filters.

Designed to enhance engine performance, this intake system improves throttle response and increases horsepower by allowing the engine to breathe more freely. The system seals to the underside of the hood using blade-style weather stripping, isolating the filter from hot engine compartment air and ensuring a consistent supply of cool, dense air.
