Fitment Notes

• Designed specifically for internally-gated T25 and T28 turbocharger housings. Features a cutout in the wastegate area for a precise, tight fit around internal wastegate actuators.
• Does NOT fit externally-gated turbocharger setups. Verify your turbocharger style before ordering.
• This listing is for the shield only (DEI 10148). The full kit version (DEI 10149) includes the shield plus 2" x 15 ft Titanium Wrap, two 14" stainless steel zip ties, and 5 ft of fastening wire.
• Size the shield using turbo body circumference and width (excluding flanges): T25/T28 - 19" outer circumference, ~2.5" inner width.
• Once heat-cycled, the fibers lose initial flexibility. The shield is not designed for repeated removal after installation. Thermal properties are not reduced by this change.

Product Description

The DEI 10148 is a custom-fit Titanium Turbo Shield designed for T25 and T28 internally-gated turbocharger housings. Made from pulverized volcanic rock (basalt fiber) with LR Technology, this shield acts as an extreme-duty thermal barrier - retaining heat within the turbine housing to accelerate spool and reduce turbo lag, while simultaneously blocking radiant heat from escaping into the engine bay. With a direct heat rating of 1,800°F and radiant heat tolerance up to 2,500°F, it outperforms standard turbo blankets and offers far greater durability against oil spills, abrasion, and vibration.

Installation is straightforward thanks to the built-in anchoring hooks and riveted anchor points that lock the shield securely to the turbo housing. The T25/T28-specific profile includes a wastegate cutout for a tight, flush fit over internally-gated units.
