Product Description

The MaxTrac 440513 is a pair of forged steel torsion keys built to drop the front of 1999-2006 GM 1500-platform trucks and SUVs by 1 to 3 inches. Torsion bar suspension uses these keys to set ride height, so swapping in a lowering key is one of the simplest, most affordable ways to change stance without touching the torsion bars themselves or investing in a full spindle or strut replacement.

Each key is forged from steel for durability and finished in a grey powder coat to resist corrosion over time. Because the front lowering range is adjustable within the 1"-3" window, it allows some flexibility in dialing in the exact drop rather than locking into one fixed height.

This is a solid choice for owners of Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Yukon, Escalade, or Avalanche models within the covered years who want a lowered front stance. MaxTrac recommends pairing it with their rear shock extenders (part# 530900) to keep front and rear geometry matched, and staying at or under a 9-inch wheel width with at least 4.5 inches of backspacing to keep the warranty intact.
