The NRG SRK-RLE36H-BK Race Short Hub Adapter is a compact steering hub designed to pair with NRG quick-release steering systems for motorsport and performance builds. Unlike standard short hubs, this race version trims down the hub height by removing the 6-bolt wheel pattern and horn mounting provision, reducing the overall length by up to an inch and cutting significant weight. Built from anodized 6061-T6 aluminum with a matte black finish, it's engineered for durability while offering a sleek, race-ready aesthetic.

Fitment covers popular BMW platforms including E36 3-Series models (318i, 325i, 328i, and M3), the Z3 roadster, and certain E39 5-Series variants like the 540i, as well as early 8-Series models including 840i, 850i, and 850ci. Because it omits a 6-bolt mounting pattern, this hub requires an NRG quick release to mount an aftermarket steering wheel - steering wheels cannot bolt directly to it without a quick-release interface.
