Product Description

The Mishimoto R1451-AT is a direct OEM-style replacement radiator built for 1985-1997 Ford Broncos and F-Series trucks equipped with factory A/C and an automatic transmission. As these vehicles age, factory radiators are prone to internal clogging, corrosion, and cracked plastic tanks from years of thermal cycling - all of which can lead to overheating and, eventually, more serious engine damage. The R1451-AT swaps in a fresh aluminum core with OEM-spec plastic end tanks to restore full cooling capacity without any of the downsides of a worn-out original unit.

Built to a 2-row, crossflow core design with an integrated transmission cooler, this radiator is intended as a like-for-like replacement rather than a performance upgrade - it drops into the factory mounting points, uses the stock hose and bracket locations, and requires no cutting or modification to install. It's a straightforward fit for daily-driven Broncos and F-150/F-250/F-350 trucks, as well as F-450 and F-53 motorhome chassis, that are due for a cooling system refresh.

Note that this radiator does not include a fan, radiator cap, or transmission cooler adapter fittings - if your existing hardware is also worn, plan to reuse or replace those separately during installation. As with any radiator swap, it's good practice to inspect hoses, the thermostat, and the radiator cap at the same time to get the most life out of the new unit.
