Fitment Notes

• Compatible with both Haltech Elite and Nexus Series ECUs - the key distinction from the older HT-059908 (TCA-8), which supports Elite and Platinum Series only. Nexus users should select this unit.
• Thermocouple probes are NOT included - sold separately. Compatible with Haltech K-type thermocouples (mini K-type connector) such as the HT-010861 through HT-010874 series.
• Connects plug-and-play to the ECU CAN port via the included 1200mm DTM-4 to Circular Connector CAN cable. For installations with multiple CAN devices, a Haltech Elite 4-Port CAN Hub may be required (sold separately).
• Outputs 8 independent linearized 0-5V analog signals, making it also suitable for use with data loggers and third-party ECUs accepting 0-5V temperature inputs.

Product Description

The Haltech HT-059918 TCA-8 is an eight-channel thermocouple amplifier that converts the low-level output of up to 8 K-type thermocouple probes into 8 independent linearized 0-5V analog signals, delivered to the ECU via CAN bus. It is the current-generation TCA-8, compatible with both Haltech Elite and Nexus Series ECUs - making it the correct choice for Nexus platform builds, where the older HT-059908 is not compatible. With a temperature measurement range of 0°C to 1,000°C, it suits a wide range of monitoring tasks including EGT on turbocharged engines, manifold temperature on naturally aspirated builds, turbo inlet/outlet temperatures, oil temperature monitoring, and multi-cylinder per-cylinder EGT tracking.

The unit connects directly to the ECU's CAN port via the included 1200mm DTM-4 to Circular Connector cable, making it plug-and-play with Elite and Nexus ECUs. For multi-device CAN installations, a Haltech Elite 4-Port CAN Hub is required (sold separately). The 0-5V analog outputs also make it compatible with third-party data loggers and temperature instrumentation. Thermocouple probes are sold separately - Haltech's 1/4" open tip K-type thermocouple range (HT-010861 through HT-010874) is fully compatible.
