The PowerStop Z23-1547 Z23 Evolution Sport Rear Brake Pads are engineered as a direct-fit performance upgrade for Audi C7 A6, A7 Quattro, D4 A8 Quattro, RS5, RS7, S6, S7, S8, and first-generation Porsche Macan models. These pads are designed for luxury sport vehicle owners who want stronger, cleaner stopping power without the excessive brake dust that plagues OEM pads on open-spoke alloy wheels. The carbon-fiber-infused ceramic Z23 compound delivers measurably improved bite and fade resistance compared to standard OE replacements, while remaining fully compatible with everyday street driving conditions.

Each pad features a thermally scorched surface for faster break-in, chamfered and slotted edges for noise-free engagement, and a dual-layer rubberized shim stack to eliminate brake squeal. The powder-coated steel backing plate adds long-term protection against the corrosion common in European brake assemblies. Note that this is a rear pad set only; a pad wear sensor is not included and must be sourced separately. Vehicles equipped with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) or Audi RS Carbon Ceramic rotors are not compatible with this part - iron rotor applications only.
