Product Description

The Moroso 85459 is a remote aluminum breather tank built to work alongside Moroso racing vacuum pumps or dry sump oil tank systems. As engine oil systems generate crankcase pressure and vapor, this tank captures and separates oil from air before it vents, using internal baffling and a mesh media element to keep oil in the system rather than being expelled through the breather. That separation helps protect against oil loss and keeps the engine bay cleaner during hard racing use.

The tank ships with a non-hooded, clamp-on filtered breather that traps residual oil while letting air escape, along with a hand-operated petcock valve for quick draining between sessions. Its compact 3-1/8 in. by 11-1/2 in. aluminum housing and included T-bolt mounting clamp make it straightforward to mount within an engine bay or chassis, and the -10AN male inlet threads directly into common racing oiling system plumbing.

This is a purpose-built component for dedicated racing and off-road applications - it is not legal for use on pollution-controlled, street-driven vehicles.
