The Mishimoto MMOFC-MUS1-BK is a CNC-machined billet aluminum oil filler cap engineered to fit most Ford vehicles using an M32 x 3.5 oil filler neck thread. While it is marketed as a primary upgrade for the 1987-2001 Ford Mustang - covering the Fox Body, SN95, and New Edge generations - the same M32 x 3.5 thread is shared across a wide range of Ford cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans from 1985 through the mid-2010s, including Powerstroke diesel platforms (7.3L, 6.0L, 6.4L) in the F-250 through F-550 Super Duty lineup. The factory plastic cap on these vehicles degrades over time under the heat and chemical exposure of the engine bay - the Mishimoto aluminum replacement holds its finish and its seal indefinitely.
