Product Description

Heat soak from the engine block can raise intake manifold temperatures and rob you of consistent air density, especially on EJ-powered Subarus running the long-runner manifold. These phenolic spacers create a thermal barrier between the manifold and cylinder head, using a CNC'd composite glass epoxy construction that resists heat transfer far better than a direct metal-to-metal mounting.

Two spacers ship per package, with four total required for a complete install - plan to pair them with a fresh OEM intake gasket for a proper seal. Since the added thickness raises the manifold slightly, double-check your hood clearance before ordering, especially on tighter engine bay builds.
