Product Description

The Rock Slide Engineering REBUILD20-081 is the official driver-side service kit for restoring a Gen2 Step Slider on 2020-and-newer Jeep Gladiator JT 4-door models. Rather than replacing the entire step slider assembly, this kit supplies the internal wear components needed to bring smooth, quiet, reliable deployment and retraction back to a slider that's seen heavy off-road use, frequent stepping, or simply years of service.

The kit includes an aluminum rod, heim joints, and pinned arms, along with a motor link and a motor that comes with adjustable brackets already assembled. Bushings arrive pre-installed into their components to simplify the rebuild, and the kit rounds out with an extension spring, anchor plate, e-clips, washers, and the remaining hardware needed to complete the job - all engineered specifically for the Gen2 step slider design.

This is a driver-side-specific kit; the passenger side of the same Gen2 system is serviced separately with Rock Slide's REBUILD20-082. Installation is a moderate DIY job requiring basic hand tools, typically completed in 30 to 60 minutes per side. Owners with a Gen3 Step Slider system should use the corresponding Gen3 rebuild kit instead, since this kit is not compatible with that generation.
