Fitment Notes

• This TPS is clocked for the RSX Base and CR-V throttle body orientation - not interchangeable with the RSX Type-S/Civic Si unit (BXIM-10401) or the Accord/Element unit (BXIM-10403). Each application uses a different internal clocking; installing the wrong TPS will cause drivability faults and incorrect throttle signal output to the ECU.
• Confirm your exact vehicle (RSX Base vs. RSX Type-S vs. CR-V) before ordering. The RSX Base uses the K20A3 engine; the RSX Type-S uses K20A2/K20Z1 - these are different throttle body configurations with different TPS clocking.
• Not compatible with Honda models equipped with single-point ignition systems.
• A gasket is included - replace the TPS-to-throttle-body gasket any time the TPS is removed.

The BLOX Racing BXIM-10402 is a brand-new replacement throttle position sensor (TPS) for the 2002-2006 Acura RSX Base and 2002+ Honda CR-V, clocked specifically for the throttle body orientation used in these applications. The TPS is a potentiometer mounted to the throttle body that provides the ECU with a variable voltage signal corresponding to throttle plate angle. A failing TPS causes drivability issues including erratic idle, hesitation under acceleration, and poor throttle response.
