Product Description

The Aeromotive 18499 Gen II Stealth Fuel Tank is a direct-fit performance fuel delivery upgrade engineered specifically for **1955-1957 Chevrolet Tri-Five full-size vehicles**, including Bel Air, 150, 210, and Nomad models. This complete assembly replaces the factory tank with a baffled 16-gallon steel unit featuring internal Phantom baffle technology, designed to maintain a reliable fuel supply to the pre-installed high-flow 340 LPH Stealth pump even during hard acceleration or slosh conditions.

Fully assembled with the pump and a calibrated 0-30 Ohm fuel level sending unit already installed, the 18499 offers OEM-style appearance and functionality with modern performance capability. The billet hat includes female ORB-06 outlet, return, and vent ports positioned for direct integration with performance plumbing. Its plug-and-play design utilizes the original fuel outlet location and mounting straps for straightforward installation without tank modification.

This tank assembly supports both EFI and carbureted systems when paired with appropriate regulators and plumbing - making it ideal for street rods and classic restoration builds aiming for higher performance. With a robust 340 LPH pump, it can support significant horsepower goals: up to approximately **850 HP naturally aspirated gasoline EFI, 700 HP forced induction, and up to 1000 HP carbureted gasoline** depending on build and fuel type. Note: this product **is not legal for sale or use on emission-controlled vehicles** except as a direct OEM replacement matching specifications.
