Product Description

The Turbosmart LockSleeve (TS-199-3040) is the 3.00" 90° elbow hose barb compressor outlet adapter for Turbosmart B-Frame and C-Frame turbochargers (TS-1 / TS-2 series). It is the larger-diameter counterpart to the TS-199-3023 (2.50" hose barb, 90° elbow) and serves builds where a 3.00" outlet and conventional silicone or rubber hose routing - secured with standard hose clamps - is preferred over profile clamp systems. The weld-free LockSleeve ferrule mechanically compresses an internal O-ring between the compressor cover and the outlet sleeve as the two collar halves are torqued together, producing a high-pressure, airtight seal equivalent to a welded connection with no permanent modification to the turbocharger.

The 90° elbow orientation routes charged air immediately away from the compressor outlet, useful in tight engine bays where straight piping is not viable before the first bend. For 3.00" configurations requiring Vibrant HD or Plazmaclamp fitment at 90°, use TS-199-3037.
